I'm pleased with the MWRA for keeping us informed of the status of the leak and fixing it in a timely fashion, and I'm pleased that their estimates of the time to repair were slight overestimates rather than wildly off or underestimates.

I'd rather the water main hadn't broken, but this seems to be a good example of government working like it's supposed to. It is a pleasant contrast to the incompetence, corruption, and malice that we so often hear about.
